Shop Supervisor

Job Summary

This role as a Shop Supervisor oversees daily store operations, ensuring sales targets are met by tracking performance, setting goals, and leading a team to maximise productivity. Responsibilities include maintaining stock and visual standards, training staff, managing promotional plans, and reporting to the Shop/Area Manager. The position also handles opening/closing duties and provides regular feedback on store needs and performance to meet KPIs set by management.

This position is to be located at MST Golf Super Store Intermark Mall, Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

  • Review and keep track of sales, set daily target and ensure achievement of sales target.
  • Reports to Shop Manager/Area Manager on staff performance and sales/shop performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to produce the best performance.
  • Handle the overall shop operations and ensure consistency in execution.
  • Review staff strength and delegate job duties accordingly.
  • Liaise and follow-up with HQ on stocks support.
  • Implement or execute sales and promotion plans.
  • Provide necessary report to Shop Manager on ways to increase sales
  • Responsible to maintain display SOP.
  • Provide training to shop staffs on operation SOP, Display SOP and product knowledge.
  • Achieving target set on ILOVEGOLF member’s recruitment given by ILOVEGOLF department.
  • Fully responsible in self-reporting of overall shop activities to Shop Manager and Area Manager.
  • To feedback to respective person-in-charge on issues related to pricing, stock, display and staff.
  • To assist/execute together with Shop manager/ Area Manager to achieve KPI set by Management.
  • Able to handle opening and closing of shop with responsibility to hold keys and alarm code.
  • To carry out any other duties as instructed by superior from time to time.
  • To undertake any other job function as assigned by the superior and Management from time to time.

Qualifications / Skills Needed

  • Diploma in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in a management or retail position.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong customer focus and decision-making skills.
