The Club Fitter oversees MST Golf Tech Shop’s club fitting and repair operations, ensuring high standards across all club fitting services while managing daily shop operations, inventory, and custom builds. This role is responsible for building clubs to precise specifications, driving custom fitting sales, supporting marketing efforts, and maintaining quality control. Additionally, the Club Fitter conducts continuous training, develops fitting competencies, and collaborates closely with staff, suppliers, and pro shop teams to achieve Tech Shop sales targets and deliver professional service.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee & deliver club fitting operations
In charge of MST Golf Tech Shop club repairs.
To oversee all club fitters in the company to deliver professional standard of services.
Build golf clubs to fitter’s specifications.
Responsible for the daily operations for MST Tech Shop.
To liaise with HQ for products, tools and system supports.
To drive custom fitting club sales and support in marketing.
Serve and sell off-the-shelve clubs to customers.
Grow efficiency of building and quality control for MST Golf custom builds.
Work towards Tech Shop Sales targets.
Implement and assist on club fitting and building systems.
Monitor Tech Shop stocks orders.
Responsible for all custom building.
Report to the Head Fitter and Builder weekly.
Establish close working relationships with pro shop staff and managers, also with suppliers and buyers.
Participate in golfing events when needed.
2. Drive club fitting competency development
Continuous training on fitting, repairs, product/technical information.
Work and be certified by all major fitting brands.
To train and embark on knowledge transfer to local staff to be certified as the Golf Lab Professional Fitter.
Qualifications / Skills Needed
Minimum 1 year of experience on golf lab equipment & technology, club specs.
