Low Kok Poh serves as our Executive Chairman, bringing over 35 years of experience in the golf industry.
Mr. Low Kok Poh earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) from The University of Iowa in 1986.
His career began as a Mechanical Engineer from September 1986 to November 1989 with a Japanese engineering company in Malaysia.
His expertise in the golf retail industry started in 1989 when MST Golf was first incorporated as Masinthai Marketing Sdn Bhd. He was one of the first shareholders and director and is the co-founder of MST Golf together with his childhood friend Mr. Ng Yap Sio, the Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer.
In January 2000, he assumed the designation of Managing Director. With a deep understanding of the golf business, he laid foundation for the retail business where he played a pivotal role in establishing customer service excellence and secured brand distributorships which led to the opening of the first store.
On 1 October 2022, Mr. Low took on the role of Executive Chairman for the Group. In his leadership capacity, Mr. Low oversees the Group’s external relations and maintains business relationships with the Group’s business partners and key customers including the brands, golf clubs, landlords, dealers, corporate customers and golf industry personnels.
He is a director and shareholder of All Sportz Sdn Bhd, a major shareholder of the Company. He does not hold any directorship in public companies and listed entities.
He does not have any familial ties with any Director/ major shareholder of the Company, nor does he have any conflict of interest or potential conflict of interest, including interest in any competing business with the Company and its subsidiaries.
